Tao Lin

Tao Lin received his Bachelor (1991) and Master (1994) degrees from the Department of Automatic Control Engineering, and his Ph.D. (1997) from the Department of Electrical Engineering, all at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Since September 2005, he has been a Professor and a Master's/Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Wuhan University (supervising academic graduate students in Electrical Engineering, and Power Construction and Operation; and professional degree graduate students in Energy and Power, and Civil and Hydraulic Engineering). He currently holds the positions of Chair of the Subcommittee of the IEEE PES (China) Energy Internet Technology Committee, Member of the Energy Internet Technology Committee of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, Member of the Artificial Intelligence and Electrical Application Technology Committee of the China Electrotechnical Society, and Member of the Hydropower and New Energy Operation Management Technology Committee of the Chinese Society for Hydroelectric Engineering. He also serves on the editorial boards of several academic journals, including Energies (SCI-indexed), International Journal of Power and Energy Systems (EI/ESCI-indexed), Power System Protection and Control (EI-indexed), and Journal of Electric Power Science and Technology (Chinese Core Journal).
